Innosen — short for Innovative Sensors — designs and manufactures metal packaging quality assurance systems. WHO WE ARE
Innosen was established in 2012. However, the expertise behind it has been developing inside metal packaging for more than 40 years. Our founder helped bring some of the first inline quality sensors to canmaking. Among them were the double sheet detector and the original Hoverprobe. As a result, that engineering lineage still runs through every product we build today.
Metal packaging quality assurance built in-house
We also design and manufacture our own equipment in Premià de Mar (Barcelona), Spain and in Manila, Philippines. Because design and production sit under one roof, the engineers who build a sensor also specify, calibrate and support it. Therefore we can adapt equipment to a customer’s line, rather than the other way around. Meanwhile, four offices — Spain, Hong Kong, the Philippines and the United States — keep support close to the plants we serve.
Metal packaging quality assurance across every can format
Canmakers in more than 70 countries use our detection systems, laboratory gauges and QA software across many formats. For example: 3-piece welded cans, ends, aerosols, tubes, caps and closures, crown corks, DRD cans and drums and pails. In addition, we work upstream in coil handling and lacquering and printing.

On the Line
Detection systems help canmakers catch production risks such as double sheets, skewed sheets, and missing lacquer. In other words, problems surface before they cause downtime, spoilage or customer complaints.
For instance, these sensors sit directly in the press, on the welder or on the conveyor. Moreover, they keep working at production speed in oil, dust and vibration. In the Laboratory
Enamel raters, coating thickness gauges, UV loggers, and test adapters help QA teams verify coating integrity with measurable results.
That is, the aim is repeatability: the same test, the same sample geometry, the same number every shift. In addition, our adapters and stands cover ends, caps, flat sheets, aerosols, tubes and capsules. In Your Data
With IS860 CoatPro, IS810 EnamelPro and Innolytix® IS1100, quality measurements are collected and reviewed in one place. In turn, those numbers support better process decisions.
Instead of a paper log, readings go straight from the gauge into one record. Therefore a trend is visible while the batch is still running, not after a complaint. Furthermore, the same data supports audits, customer specifications and internal process capability reviews. In short, that is what turns a set of gauges into a quality system.
