About the IS9023 Automatic Vacuum Control Unit
The IS9023 is an optional accessory for the IS9020TMR end adapter. It triggers the IS9021AV vacuum generator automatically, so the vacuum comes on and releases at the right moment in the test cycle without an operator touching a valve.
On a single sample that hardly matters. On a full batch of ends it does: a manual vacuum valve means one repetitive hand movement per sample, and it is the point in the cycle where electrolyte is most likely to be spilled. Automating the switching removes both problems and keeps the operator on the reading rather than on the plumbing. Results still stream into IS1100 Innolytix® with the rest of the line.

Does the IS9023 replace the IS9021AV vacuum generator?

Can I add the IS9023 to a station that is already installed?
Yes. It is designed as an add-on to an existing IS9020TMR and IS9021AV setup, so the adapter, gauge and top plates you already have stay in place.
