About the IS9015 Can Stand
The IS9015 is a height-adjustable can stand for enamel rater testing across a wide variety of can shapes and sizes. One stand covers 2-piece, 3-piece and aerosol cans, from small food cans up to large containers, because the arm raises the working height from 50 cm up to 80 cm instead of asking you to change fixture.
Titanium probes carry the test current, so the parts that sit in the electrolyte every day are rust resistant and contact resistance stays stable. Sharp, blunt-proof contact blocks assure perfect can contact without sandpaper, a can contact sensor confirms each can is properly contacted before a reading is taken, a fill level probe checks the test solution, and built-in calibration resistors with a verification switch let an operator prove the measuring chain at the bench in seconds.
The stand is semi-automatic. Once a can is seated and contacted, the IS9015 triggers the reading, so an operator can measure a batch without pressing a key on the gauge. It connects directly to the IS810 EnamelPro™ enamel rating gauge, which applies and adjusts the test voltage, localizes defects with reverse polarity and logs every result to Innolytix® QA software.
