The IS9651 Hoverprobe ® coating thickness probe is Innosen’s semi-automatic solution for accurately measuring lacquer, coating, and varnish thickness on flat sheets. Designed to work seamlessly with the IS860 CoatPro Coating Thickness gauge, it forms a complete, highly reliable coating-thickness measurement system (IS1100 Innolytix data collection software included).
By floating into position on a cushion of air and settling under its own fixed weight, the IS9651 ensures every reading applies the exact same pressure to the probe tip. This unique design removes the inconsistency typically caused by manual probe handling.
(Note: The Hoverprobe II also works with SI9600-type coating thickness gauges already installed on your line, ideal for plants transitioning their measurement setup).
