The IS228C is a switchbox for coating thickness measurement systems. It connects two probes to one electronics unit, so a single gauge can drive both.

The switchbox sits between the coating thickness gauge and the probes. Because both probes stay connected, operators simply turn the knob from A to B to select the active one. That way, one gauge handles two probes, and nobody has to unplug the input cable.
